Advantages
One of the advantages with a questionnaire is that it does not take long to make. Whats great is about this is that once it has been finished and dished out to the target audience, it allows me to be getting on with other work, therefore saving time. Another advantage is that most of the questions are mixed answer questions, so the reader can circle answers which i have put on there to make it easier for me to evaluate, and to avoid bias results. This makes producing graphs a lot easier, and again saves time.
Disadvantages
One of the problems with questionnaires are that if some of the target audience are grouped together, then they might all have the same answers as they will confer with each other. This means my results would not be reliable, which would mean I could not use them to help construct my music magazine.
My results will help me to influence my design choices because I can find out what the most popular answers are to my questions. This means I will be able to find out what people prefer, so when I include this in my magazine people will prefer it.
